Welcome to Dolittle’s, a non-profitable Animal-Assisted Healing organisation, founded in the Isle of Man in 2009. Dolittle’s relies 100% on our devoted, loving and caring volunteers who, along with their assessed and approved pets, offer a voluntary service that provides the people of the Isle of Man with Animal-Assisted Healing (AAH).

Animals radiate a loving, positive energy and, when received by a human, “miracles occur”. Animals don’t judge by skin colour, age, looks, wealth, weight, height or gender. They detect your receptive energy levels in seconds and they are capable of detecting mood, emotional levels, illness and anxiety. For instance, a dog will even raise the alarm if its owner has collapsed. A dog or cat has the ability to be in a continuous and balanced state of mind and ultimately relies on its owner’s ability to communicate properly with their individual needs.

An animal can reach a child beyond an adult’s touch. Animals allow humans to focus, even for a short period of time, on something other than themselves. Everyone has the need to touch. Many people are uncomfortable embracing strangers, even those close to them. However, when an animal passes by they willingly touch and stroke them - how wonderful.

A carefully planned and well organised Animal-Assisted Healing visitation programme benefits everyone. It is beneficial both psychologically and physiologically to the residents, providing a marketing asset to the nursing facility.

Dolittle’s volunteers offer this Animal-Assisted Healing to anyone who “feels the need”. The results are truly magical and we welcome you aboard this life-changing experience. Unconditional love awaits.
